Great balls of fire, we’re getting a Top Gun sequel after 31 years. Set in the world of drone technology and fifth generation fighters, this sequel will explore the end of the era of dogfighting. Not a whole lot is known about the movie, except that the filmmakers have recruited a cast of some of the most in-demand young actors in Hollywood – including Miles Teller, who will play Goose’s son, and Leave No Trace‘s Thomasin McKenzie – and that Val Kilmer is officially back as Iceman.
Who was lighting those fires we saw in the distance in the original A Quiet Place? We may just find out in the sequel, which it was announced in October 2018 that John Krasinski would be writing. We later learned Krasinski would also return to direct, and that Emily Blunt would also be reprising her role from the first film.
