10 Upcoming Movies that will Keep you at the Edge of Your Seat!

For all the movie freaks out there, 2018 has been great. Just think about it.  A Quiet Place, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, Deadpool 2, The Nun, Venom…  It is not vile to say that 2018 has explored every movie genre, providing non-stop entertainment to the moviegoers.

But if you think this year was the best, be prepared to get blown away by the movies that await you in 2019.

With 2019 just around the corner, there are plenty of amazing films on the tap. To keep you up with all the exciting new releases, we have put together a list of the most anticipated movies of 2019. So, take out your pens and start marking your calendars because trust us, you do not want to miss these films at all.

10 Upcoming Movies in 2019

  1. Avengers 4

Release date: May 3, 2019

Let’s admit it, Avengers 4 is keeping all of us on our toes. The movie is so badly anticipated that Marvel has decided to keep its title under the covers for now. After wiping out half the universe, Thanos is probably chilling somewhere. We cannot wait to see the remaining heroes to pick up what’s left of this world and restore its former glory.

  1. Star Wars: Episode IX

Release date: December 20, 2019

Calling out all Star Wars fans!

One of the reasons why we are so hyped about 2019 is the release of Star Wars: Episode IX, the finale to the Star Wars trilogy. With the death of Luke Skywalker, we are literally at the edge of our seat to see what fate has in store for Kylo Ren and Rey.

  1. It: Chapter 2

Release date: September 6, 2019

Don’t we just adore Stephen King’s work? Even if it scares the bejesus out of us?

It 2 is a sequel to one of the most petrifying and emotionally resonant movies of 2017, It. Nothing much has been revealed about the sequel except the return of Pennywise, and if the makers follow the books, this is going to happen a few years later. So we definitely won’t be expecting the cute kids from the first part to return. Nevertheless, Pennywise is still coming back to haunt you and we are willing to pay good money for the sake of it.

  1. Frozen 2

Release date: November 27, 2019

2019 promises to bring Frozen 2: a young adult fantasy movie, or so they say. It is going to be another amazing addition to the animated feature pantheon from our all-time favorite Disney. We don’t know about you all but we cannot wait to see Rudolph and Reindeer light up our cinema screens once again, and low-key worried how Olaf will to survive when there is no snow left.

  1. Wonder Woman 2

Release date: November 1, 2019

Let’s have a moment of honesty here. At this point, Wonder Woman 2 is probably the only DC movie we are willing to spend money on (and boy, we are excited!!). Set in the ’80s, the movie is featuring Cheetah, Wonder Woman’s nemesis in the comic series. We bet it is going to be even more amazing than its prequel (fingers crossed!)

  1. Captain Marvel

Release date: March 6, 2019

The only time DC outsmarted Marvel was when it came up with its very own female superhero movie. So voila, you have Captain Marvel at your service. Captain Marvel is anticipated to be the most powerful superhero to be introduced in the MCU. Besides, she will be playing a really important part in Avengers 4. So we suggest you buckle up because it’s going to be one heck of a ride.

  1. The Lion King (Live Action)

Release date: July 19, 2019

If you think that was all 2019 is bringing to you, be prepared to witness The Lion King, that too in live action. With Donald Glover as Simba, John Oliver as Zau, Beyonce as Nala, and Seth Rogan as Pumba, the movie is already giving us nerdgasms.

So, are you ready to bawl your eyes out at Mufasa’s death once again??

  1. Aladdin (Live Action)

Release date: May 24, 2019

What if we tell you that Will Smith is going to play the Genie? Shut up and take my money!!!!

  1. Dumbo (Live Action)

Release date: March 29, 2019.

Allow us to explain. The cast of Dumbo includes Michael Keaton, Eva Green, Danny Devito, and Colin Farell.

Come on! Release it already.

  1. Spider-Man: Far From Home

Release date: July 5, 2019

Spider-Man is probably not feeling good these days (curse you, Thanos). But after Avengers 4, he definitely will recover. It’s about time Tom Holland start carrying his own franchise, at least for a couple of years.

With all these great films lined up for 2019, it’s going to be one amazing year with back to back entertainment! So what are you waiting for? Start saving for tickets and popcorns right away!
